No. No real cats, but some sound and touch responsive toys with speakers and LEDs casted to form bricks and build a wall from. Touch them to see how today's ghost walls function.

Besides knocking as human interaction the bricks are also controlled by an Arduino chip designed by Massimo Banzi that regularly activates the wall. The controlling program can be downloaded as arduino code or as pdf, also containing code colours.
